Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

     Watch out for the beasts! The book "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is now coming to life! You can find this book in the pack of books that says, "Hogwarts Library." It has an intro, which takes up about one third of the book's pages. The rest is a guide. But, the movie is not a guide. It takes you on a journey of a wizard taking a thrilling trip to New York, encountering strange creatures. All the people are wondering how he does all this.

     The movie is coming in November of 2016. I first found about it at the Kenner movie theater, which had amazing seats. I was watching "Jungle Book." In the previews I saw my first Harry Potter preview. It was hilarious to me because before I watched the preview, I said,"If it does not have Helena Boham Carter or Alan Rickman or is Harry Potter, skip it. In the beginning I told my sister that I could have sworn I heard "Hogwarts." I but the footrest thing on the chair up, and sat on the tip of my seat. I knew there was another Harry Potter to look foward to.

     Immediately,  I thought about what I would write in this post. So, get your wand ready for this November.



     About a week ago, I saw this movie. I loved it. Although it is not at all what I expected, it was great. At the end, I froze when I saw Johnny Depp. Sammantha Morton plays Ruby in a show I used to watch. She was Mary Lou. Newt Scammender goes to New York. He is trying to get a beast back to London.

     Ginny is Ron's sister in Harry Potter. She got sorted into Gryffindor in her first year. She is a year younger than Harry and Ron. Ginny was known to be confident, caring, and brave. Ginny had six brothers and was the only girl sibling. That must have been tough for her.

   When Ginny grew up, she married Harry Potter. You could see in the first movie and tell in the first book when they were leaving the train station. She always loved Harry. Ginny had three kids. She and Harry named them Lily Luna Potter, Albus Severus Potter, and James Sirius Potter.

Robin Hood

     Alan Rickman also acted in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. He is the evil sheriff named Sheriff Nottingham. He stabbed his brother for not killing Robin Hood. All Nottingham said was that the sword he used was good steel.

The Tale of the Three Brothers

     There were once three brothers. They were traveling along a road at twilight. The brothers then came to a river to deep to wade through. These wizards were advanced in widardry. Simply waving their wands, a bridge appeared. Halfway across, a dark, robed firgure flashed in. It was death. He was angry he had been cheated, and he wanted to kill them straight off, for most people would drown in the deep water. But, death was cunning. He pretended to reward the brothers for being smart enough to cross. Death asked the three brothers what they wanted. The first brother, as selfish as he was, asked for a wand, so powerful to kill anyone he once hated. The Elder Wand was created. The second brother asked for a stone that he would use to bring back somebody he once treasured. The resurrection stone was born.  The third, youngest brother wanted a cloak he could walk around, without being seen. He got the Invisibility Cloak.

     These brothers went their separate ways. The first brother went to a pub, where he found a person he hated. He killed him. But that night, another person took the want and killed the first brother. Death took that brother for his own. The second brother came to a lone cottage. He went inside, and returned the woman he once loved. The woman felt she did not belong, and she wanted to go back. The second brother insisted on coming with her. Death took the second brother.

      Now, Death searched for the third brother for years, but he could never find him. Soon, the brother found death, greeting him as an old friend. He went with death, but before he left, he gave the cloak to his son. Death took the third brother.

Why am I Doing all these posts with Snape?

   The reasons I am doing so many posts with Alan Rickman or Snape is that I know a lot about him. I am planning to do the same thing with other characters and basketball teams.

Alan Rickman Dies

   Sadly, at the age of 69, Alan Rickman died from cancer yesterday. I was astonished because it was so close to his birthday. I was so sad when I heard this, for he was a great actor and gave so much advice  to the other people on set. Rickman really had a great personality, classified by the Harry Potter set and J.K Rowling. Rubert Grint was helped by Alan Rickman, and he used that ability throughout the movies. Alan Rickman was trying constantly or help others. ALWAYS remember Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman.

                                                 

                                                             

"Bloody Hell"

    You may reconise the qoute "Bloody Hell" from Harry Potter. Ron Weasley says this all the time throughout the movie. You may think that this is a curse word, and you should not say that. Actually, this is a popular saying that many people say in England. I have seen it so many times, it has become my catch frase. I say it everywhere except for school. Ronald says bloody hell whenever he is surprised, angry, agrivated, or weirded out. BLOODY HELL.

The Cursed Child

      J.K Rowling is writing a new Harry Potter book. I am so exited. It is called The Cursed Child. J.K Rowling confirms it is not the eight Harry Potter book. It is just The Cursed Child in book form. Harry Potter fans freaked out, calling this the eighth book. Even I thought that. This information about the book just came out yesterday, making it hard for me not to make a new post. Luckily, I found more information about the book. It was based on a movie and will not be considered as another of the Potter books, although it says Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. This book will not be added to a Harry Potter set and is 19 years later. I was confused when I first read it is not a Harry Potter book because it looks like it would be one. My prediction is it will have Albus Severus Potter, Lily Luna Potter, and James Sirius Potter, and they will go to Hogwarts. I think Albus will be cursed because in the end of the movies, in 19 years later, Harry talks to him about being in Slytherin. I cannot wait for J.K Rowling's next book.


                                                     When are the Dates?
         Well, when is this book coming out, you ask? Actually, it is coming on July 31, 2016. I thought this was convenient, for this was J.K Rowling and Harry Potter's birthdays. The first book came out on June 30, the last day of June, making this a month and 19 years later. This makes it even more convenient because the book is 19 years later.


                                                     What did it come from?
At first, I thought J.K Rowling was just writing a new Harry Potter book. I looked at some more information on trusted sites. It turns out it was based on this play. This was only on one website because it is hard to find a trusted one, so I will find more to check it on. But, I am 99 percent sure that it is based on some kind of play. My sister and I are hoping that it is not like 'James enters the room.'  'James picks up a glass bottle.'

You might be thinking that it IS a Harry Potter book because it says Harry Potter. If you really think about it, it makes sense for Rowling not to call it a Harry Potter book. It makes sense because it is Harry Potter's kids. None of their names are Harry. Plus, it is nineteen years later. Harry Potter probably will not even be in it. He would only be in it if he is giving one of his kids advice.



               

Galaxy Quest

        Alan Rickman was not just in Harry Potter. He was actually in alot of other great movies. Galaxy Quest is one of them. In this movie, Alan Rickman plays Alexander Dane, who acted in a tv series in the actual movie as Dr. Lazurus. Obviously, he was one of the three main characters. Alexander's main quote was "By Grabthar's hammer, you shall be avenged." When he was not acting in the television series, he was often having a fit about how he should not be there. He should be in a better movie or show. Once, he tried to run away. Alexander just thought that line he said all the time was stupid. He probably said the most curse words in the movie.

      Alexander always wore his headpeace. He did not even take it of when he was not acting in the television show. I suspect it is because he has cancer, and he did not have any hair, just wearing a wig, but I do not know for sure. Alan Rickman acted way different in Galaxy Quest than he did as Snape. At the end he is crazy! Anyway, you can see his headpeace coming off when he was fighting, at the end. He had no expression, signing autographs, and he did not let people finish saying his best qoute. You might think that is rude, but if you see it, it is very funny. I actually admire it. Everything he did made sense.

   Most people are clueless where to find the baby flying pigs. Well, I think I have found them. The blue sky is where you can find babies. That is my conclusion. When they are born, I think they are blue. Many people will doubt me that flying pigs are real. I believe they are out there somewhere.

Quidditch

         
     Quidditch has been played for a long time. It is a great sport that many witches and wizards at Hogwarts participate in. The idea of the game is to score points by getting the balls into the goal. The  snitch is worth 150 points. When the seeker gets it, that team wins the game.   


      A long time ago, Quidditch was different than it is now. It was spelled like 'Kwidditch'. The Chaser was referred to as the 'Catcher. The Beater was the 'Blooder'. The snitch was called the 'Snidget'.


     The first official Quidditch game was played in 1398. In 1419, the council declared that Quidditch could not be played anywhere around muggles. The fact that witches and wizards flew on broomsticks was the biggest secret they had. It would be amazing to see a person just flying around on a broom. The word would be spread. No muggles should have a broomstick whatsoever for they could only stay on them for about 14 seconds.

The Truth About Severus Snape

  Severus Snape is a misunderstood character. He is very kind. Snape always saves Harry. Here are some times that Snape saved Harry.





                             Durring the Qudditch match, Snape was really reversing the curse.
                        

          Snape sent out his patronus that lead Harry to the sword and Ron to Harry and Hermione

                             These are just a few times that Snape saved Harry. There are ALOT more times.Anyway, his memories explain a lot about him. He really is a hero. Lets take a look of Snape's scenes in chronological order.

All, this time he has risked his life to save the boy.

I watch this over and over. I look to see if he actually does any bad things that people say he does. Not once did I see something bad. And I am telling you, I watched it about 69 times! I really owe a lot of thanks to kcawesome13. She changed a lot about my friend's feelings about Snape by making this.

   

        Snape was only "mean" to Harry, as some say because he was bullied by his father, James Potter, along with Sirius Black. He also hated James because he stole Lily from him. James was mean to Lily. As you saw in the film, James knocked over Lily's books. Severus jumped in to help her. All James did was keep running along. As he was running, he even smiled, knowing that he ran into Lily and Severus to make the books fall. One day, Sirius and James put a curse on Snape. They made him call Lily 'mudblood'. It means dirty blood. Lily never knew that Snape was cursed. She thought he meant to say it. For this, Lily got very mad. If it did not happen, I think Lily would have married Snape. James and his crew called Severus "Snivviles." (I need to check my spelling on this. I am just writing this off of my mind.)

The actor that plays Severus Snape is Alan Rickman. He really does the best acting, no doubt. When  I watch him, it is like I am stepping into Harry Potter. He is a brilliant actor. Alan likes buttoning buttons. That is why you see so many on his Snape coustume. Lets see what he says about Severus.

A: Well, people believe different things. Flying pigs have never been spotted, so you cannot prove they are real OR fake. When you hear the word flying pig, you think of a fake character in a cartoon. I think of an animated pig in the air, flying.

Hogwarts

         In this post, I will tell you about Hogwarts school of witchcraft  and wizardtry.

         If you read or watch Harry Potter, you know there is a wonderful school called Hogwarts. I will tell you about it. Hogwarts was founded by four people: Rowena Ravenclaw, Salazar Slytherin, Godric Gryffindor, and Helga Hufflepuff. Their last names created the houses: Ravenclaw, my house, Slytherin, Gryffindor, and Hufflepuff. Together, they make up Howarts.

          There is a story about The Chamber of Secrets I will tell you.


          One day, the four witches and wizards were deciding things about Hogwarts. They said that muggleborns, half bloods, and full bloods should get to go to Hogwarts. There was just one person who did not agree: Salazar Slytherin. He felt that only pure bloods should get to go to Hogwarts. So, he created The Chamber of Secrets.

                                                         

Basketball Teams

    In this post, I will tell you about basketball teams and how they are doing.

    First of all, here in New Orleans, our team is the Pelicans. You may have thought it was the Hornets, but it changed. I will tell you the story of why.

     First, it was the Charlotte Hornets. Than, the Hornets moved here. The Charlotte Hornets changed their name to The Bobcats. New Orleans decided to change their name to The Hornets. Tom Benson wanted to make the name more official to New Orleans. So, he changed it to The New Orleans Pelicans. When Charlotte heard about this, the took their name back. That is why we are now The Pelicans.

   My favorite teams in order are:
 1. Pelicans
 2. Celtics
 3. Pacers

  I will tell you why. I live in New Orleans for the Pelicans. I like the Celtics because Larry Bird is on that team. I like the Pacers because Larry Bird is the president of them.

     I will just list some teams. Comment if you like that team, and say what team.

Pelicans, Celtics, Pacers, Spurs, Lakers, Hornets, Golden State Warriors, Cavaliers, Miami Heat, Timberwolves, and Orlando Magic. Keep in mind that there are a lot more.

    At the time, the Golden State Warriors are doing the best with about 114 points per game.

 

Original Flying Pigs

 You might hear about flying pigs at school or from your cousins. If you search "flying pig" on the internet, a lot of things will come up. My sister, Brinley, and I came up with a lot of reasons why there are trees or rainbows. They all involve flying pigs. I am still obsessed with flying pigs, but my sister: not so much.

    In this post, I will just tell you about original flying pigs: the ones with the white wings.

    The original pigs are known as "angel pigs." They are called this because their wings look like angel wings. It looks as somebody pasted angel wings on a pig! My theory is they are the clouds. Their white wings blend together to make each and every one of the clouds you see today. Now you know the original.
